Dr. Jim Davis

Dr. Jim Davis is a board certified chiropractor who received his doctor of chiropractic degree from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1997. He obtained a diplomate degree in pediatrics in 2004 following completion of a three year Pediatric post graduate program with the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice. He is only one of 150 doctors of chiropractic in the United States to obtain this prestigious honor. He is also was awarded his Wellness Certification from the International Chiropractic Association Council on Wellness Scince. Dr. Davis has also received a post graduate certification in Whiplash and Spinal Trauma through the Spine Research Institute of San Diego.

Dr. Davis’s clinical practice includes experience in pediatric and family holistic care, newborn and pregnancy care, and treatment of persons injured in automobile accidents.

His greatest teacher, love, and motivators are his two little boys Jonah and Cullen.

 Mike Zauhar

Mike was born and raised in the Brainerd Lakes Area. He graduated from Brainerd High School in 2002 and from St. Johns University in 2006 with a Bachelors degree in Natural Science/Biology.  From there, he went to Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN where he received his Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2010. Mike spent a year practicing in Big Lake, MN before moving back to the Brainerd Lakes Area and joining Lakes Chiropractic in September 2011.

 Zauhar enjoys all athletics, especially Football, Basketball, and Baseball. He was a 3 sport athlete at BHS and played Baseball and Football at SJU. He suffered numerous sports injuries throughout his playing career and that is the reason Mike chose to go into Chiropractic care. He quickly realized that if his body wasn’t in correct alignment, it caused interference with his Nerves (reaction time), Muscles (quickness/speed/strength), and Biomechanics (joint mobility). Mike emphasizes Chiropractic care as being the mode to optimal health and athletic performance.

In Mike’s free time, he is a volunteer coach for the Brainerd High Football and Basketball team, a member of the Brainerd Sport Boosters, and a devoted member of his church. He also likes to hunt, fish, workout, play basketball, and spend time with friends/family.

Mike Zauhar and his wife Jamie reside in Baxter with their dog Jax. Jamie is a special education teacher in Pillager. Jamie and  Mike enjoy being outdoors, camping, watching movies, and playing with their beloved dog Jax

Hello, my name is LeeAnn.   I am the office manager for Lakes Chiropractic.  My husband’s name is LeRoy and we have two beautiful girls who's names are Jenna and Emily.  As a family we enjoy the outdoors.  In the fall and winter you will find us hunting, ice fishing, and sliding.  During the summer we love to go camping, fishing, biking, and hiking.
