Chiropractic Physicians in Brainerd

Chiropractic adjustments restore nerve flow to the body, which can also be helpful in dealing with chronic conditions such as degenerative arthritis, circulatory disorders, constipation, depression, balance and coordination problems, osteoporosis, and other joint problems. As a team of family chiropractic physicians we strive to make sure your body is functioning as optimally as possible by using spinal manipulations to relieve pain in your joints and muscles.

Chiropractic Adjustment

Our family chiropractic services focus on issues in the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, which we refer to as subluxations. A subluxation is when a vertebra of the spine becomes stuck outside of its normal alignment, and negatively affects the nerves ability to communicate between the brain and body. While it is common for a subluxation to be the result of an accident or injury, that is not always the case. Often subluxations are caused by repetitive physical stress from poor posture during sitting, working at computers, or long hours of standing. They can even be caused by simply wearing the wrong shoes. Improper lifting techniques are also a major source of subluxations. Other factors that commonly find their way into settling into the spine include emotional stress, such as work or family issues, as well as chemical stress, such as eating processed foods or taking prescription drugs.
